Dear PONIES: The Anthology fans,
The Anthologist’s Charity is in honour of Magnus (Zetzu) Kylliäinen. Magnus was a friend of mine who, in 2010, was diagnosed with cancer. Throughout his battle with the disease and painful chemo treatments Magnus always remained positive. He was always full of life and filled anyone he talked to with joyous energy. Like many of us, Magnus also loved MLP: FiM and was extremely excited when I asked to him participate in the second Anthology, and I was very excited to be working with him.
Unfortunately, earlier this year, Magnus had a relapse and suddenly passed away. It hurt many of us to see him leave this world, but I know he wouldn’t want us to lose our happiness just as he never lost his. We kept his exuberance in our hearts and put a little bit of extra effort into this project for him.
If you have seen PONIES: The Anthology II, you will know there is a large amount of custom artwork made by our talented contributors. In honour of Magnus’s memory we want to sell some of this custom artwork and give the profits to a charity in his name. The charity we ended up choosing is the Cancer Research Institute (http://www.cancerresearch.org/ ) in New York. We chose this charity because they are extremely highly rated on charity watch lists and, more importantly, it’s what Magnus would have wanted the money to go to.
This tumblr will direct you to all of the merchandise we are selling and provide any updates in the future. If you just want to make a donation, no matter how small, we have a donate button on the left.

PONIES: The Anthology II is finally done! Over 30 very talented people worked for months to complete this project. Seven out of the eight original anthologists are back, with several new names being added to the roster. Shiropoint, mmmandarinorange, adecoy95, jHaller, BronyVids and more have all contributed their talents! In the beginning we never expected PONIES: The Anthology II to reach the size that it did. When everything was put together, trimmed, moved, and finalized, the project ended up having a running time of 82 minutes! We sincerely hope you enjoy all the hard work that went into it!
Additionally, The creators of PONIES: The Anthology II are extremely proud to announce that we will be hosting a charity drive! The second Anthology has a great deal of custom artwork. Starting shortly after Bronycon, we will be making posters and T-shirts out of the artwork to sell, with %100 of the profits going towards The Cancer Research Institute (http://www.cancerresearch.org). Our charity was created to honour Magnus, a fellow anthologist that passed away due to cancer during production.

Hey everybody, Devo here, just popping in to let you all know that we’re getting ready for the big premiere of PONIES The Anthology 2 at Bronycon on July 1st! Be sure to come see JHaller, BronyVids, SilkAMV, adecoy, Blarghalt, Fenster and myself at the combined PMV/Anthology 2 panel starting at 11am Sunday in the Mane Hall.
